About Us

Aarin Nijhawan

Aarin Nijhawan graduated from Oxford Law School in 2002, where his focus on commercial and corporate law first began. Before founding A.N. Squared, Aarin spent a decade working on Bay Street, handling high-profile contract negotiations for tech startups, entertainment companies, and international corporations.

What sets Aarin apart is his precision; he’s known for catching the one clause everyone else misses. His colleagues joke that he can “spot a loophole from space.” Outside of work, Aarin mentors young lawyers and occasionally lectures on the art of drafting contracts that actually make sense.

To him, good contract law isn’t just about paperwork; it’s about trust, strategy, and keeping clients out of messy disputes before they ever start.

Ashna Nijhawan

Ashna Nijhawan earned her law degree from Columbia Law School in 2004, where she developed an early interest in international contract law and business negotiations. Her career began working with nonprofits abroad, helping small enterprises build legally sound agreements. That experience shaped her belief that contracts aren’t just legal tools; they’re relationships on paper.

Since moving to Toronto nearly a decade ago, Ashna has built a reputation for her clarity, empathy, and unwavering attention to detail. She’s especially skilled at translating dense legal terms into language clients can actually understand.

When she’s not reviewing agreements or advising businesses, Ashna volunteers with local entrepreneur programs, helping startups and women-led businesses protect their work through fair contracts.
